Maria Florberger, Ph.D.

Maria Florberger, Ph.D., is a Senior Professional with more than 20 years of experience in risk assessment, environmental strategic advising, environmental due diligence and environmental permitting.

She is an expert in practical risk assessment of contaminated sites, including experience in risk assessment of wildlife and domestic animals. The risk assessments have included a vast variety of contaminants and different media. She has also been involved in developing guidelines for the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, EQS for TBT for the Swedish Agency for marine and water management as well as exposure models for assessing risks with DDT at former plant nurseries for the Geological Survey of Sweden.

In addition, she is regularly hired for advice on questions related EQS and Natura 2000 and for technical advice in legal disputes. She has also given lectures in practical risk assessment at Chalmers University of Technology and acted as a supervisor in master theses.
